歌舞伎で見得を切るセジロクマノミ A Sejirokumanomi strikes his ‘mie’ pose in Kabuki theater

歌舞伎役者のセジロクマノミさんが息子さんに自分の舞台を見せて学ばせるようです。

A Sejirokumanomi who is a Kabuki actor would try to teach his acting to his son.

父:今日は私の演技、特に見得を切る場面を良く観ておくように。

Father : “You must look carefully my acting, especially my ‘mie’ pose today.”

息子:はい、父上。

Son : “Yes I will do so, my father.”

では、参るぞ。

“Now, we will go.”

(The Sejirokumanomi is waiting in the wing for his turn to act on the stage.)

“Iyo~!” (It is one of the Kabukibayashi.)

 

 

(セジロクマノミさんが見得を切りました。)

(The Sejirokumanomi at last took his ‘mie’ pouse.)

“Here is the Sejirokumanomi!”

 

 

 

注釈:恐縮ながら私は歌舞伎に詳しくありません。興味のある方は、歌舞伎、見得、見得を切る、などについて各々お調べになって下さい。

Please note: Kabuki is a traditional Japanese theater form. I am sorry that I am not familiar with Kabuki. If you have an interest of Kabuki, please search for information about Kabuki, ‘mie’, striking a ‘mie’ pose, and so on, by yourselves.
